Victoria is a KWPN by the much missed dressage stallion Gribaldi. She was imported from the Netherlands as a riding horse, but an injury resulted in her becoming a broodmare.
She is graded with the Warmblood Breeders’ Studbook (UK) (formerly BWBS), British Hanoverian Horse Society, the ZfdP and the Trakehner Breeders Fraternity. In 2009, she won the part-bred mare class at the TBF show, and her 2009 colt was also placed third in his class.
Victoria not only has ground-covering paces and very correct conformation, but is a pleasure to deal with in all respects, being easy-going and amenable.
Her first foal was born in 2009; a stunning bay colt by the young coloured stallion Samaii. He was successfully sold to a dressage home and competed in the Shearwater 4 year old Championship at Hartpury College in 2013.
Alfie, aka Briarwood Stokowski was born in May 2010, and was everything we could have ever hoped for. He was awarded a High First Premium in the eventing category at the BEF Futurity Evaluation at Solihull, which means that Victoria now holds a BEF Broodmare Diploma. Very sadly, Alfie died not long after finding his perfect home with Rebecca.
Victoria produced her third colt in 2012, a dark bay foal by Fidertanz. He has excellent paces and a real ‘look at me’ factor. Theo also gained a High First Premium at the BEF Futurity in the dressage category, earning Victoria another broodmare diploma.
2013 saw the arrival of Victoria’s first filly, a beautiful elegant Uthopia foal who impresses with her extravagant, correct and uphill paces.
Following on from the international success of Valegro, we chose to cover Victoria with his sire Negro for her 2014 foal. This foal was born on 3rd June 2014, and surpassed all expectations. Blackberry is a black colt with four white socks, and was bought in utero by Lucy and we hope he will have an exciting career ahead of him.
A full sibling to Blackberry was born on 7th June 2015, and Silas became Victoria's first chestnut foal. This very special mare then enjoyed a year off from motherhood.

2017 brought Victoria's seventh foal, a beautiful bay filly by Metall.

Sadly Victoria lost her Ferdeaux filly in January 2019 and became very ill. Thanks to incredible care from our vet Holly, Victoria pulled through and we feel incredibly lucky to have this beloved mare still with us.
