Sunday is a 2005 daughter of the phenomenal stallion Sandro Hit. She was bought, along with her dam Deutsche Eiche, from Scotland in 2009, and is now living out in a herd with her sister Gina.

Sunday had definitely inherited her sire’s ‘look at me’ factor, along with his tremendous paces and jet black colouring. She has combined this with the phenomenal temperament and trainability of the her dam.

She was presented for inspection with the Warmblood Breeders’ Studbook in 2010, and is now graded into the main studbook.

In 2011 Sunday was covered by the Rotspon son Keystone Rhondeo, and gave birth to a black colt in June 2012. The R line is renowned for its rideability, and along with his strong limbs and laid back attitude, we felt that Rhondeo was the perfect choice for sire of Sunday’s first foal. She certainly delivered the goods, producing us a beautiful black colt (Archie). She proved to be an astonishing mother and the foal inherited her attitude and quality.

We once again decided to follow the R line and chose Woodlander Rockstar for Sunday's 2014 foal. This beautiful black stallion is renowned for producing youngsters with excellent limbs and amenable characters.

Sunday produced a stunning black filly in 2014, Briarwood Rock All Night, 13 days after her due date. Annie is a very elegant filly with a bold attitude and uphill, expressive paces.

After the success of her previous two foals, we decided to explore a different bloodline for Sunday and chose Fidertanz as the sire for her 2016 foal. The resulting filly was everything we could have dreamed of.

In 2020, Sunday produced a beautiful chestnut filly by Bernwode Brokat for our friend and super vet Claire. She gave birth to her final foal, a black colt by Lestingdale in 20223. Sadly we lost Jasper at three months old after a short illness.
