Roxie arrived from Germany in December 2011 to join our mare herd. She was elegant and athletic, as well as being very modern and correct. Roxie had an impeccable temperament and was a delight to be around.

Roxie wa by the successful dressage sire Rosentau and her dam Wajona combined the lines of top stallions Wolkenstein and Argentan.

Roxie had already produced one top class foal in 2004, a lovely filly by His Highness who was later awarded state premium status.

We covered Roxie in 2012, but sadly she delivered a stillborn colt at the beginning of 2013. After ensuring that this was not due to a genetic fault, we decided to cover Roxie with Furstenball again for a 2014 foal.

Briarwood Firefly arrived in May 2014, and we were delighted with her. Isla is an exquisite filly with an exceptionally feminine head and elegant limbs. In 2017, Isla was the third highest scoring dressage three year old in the entire BEF Futurity series.

We decided to continue with the F line for Roxie's next foal and covered her with Fidertanz for a 2016 foal. The result was a stunning bay filly, born in May 2016; Briarwood Fantasia.

A third filly arrived in May 2017, by Woodlander Wavavoom. Roxie then went on loan to a very close friend, and she produced a stunning chestnut colt by Foundation in May 2018.

Roxie's final foal was born in July 2020, a stunning colt by So Unique. We were lucky enough to be able to spend nearly three years spoiling Roxie before we sadly lost her in May 2023.
