Premiere is the second daughter from our mare Whorl Wind. She is a very special filly, being the last foal by the great dressage stallion Pascal, a son of Pik Bube, who sadly passed away in February 2010.

What makes Premiere so special is the combination of excellent bloodlines, athletic and uphill paces, and an incredible temperament, making her a joy to be around.

2010 was a big year for Premiere. Not only was she lightly backed, but she was also covered by the dressage stallion Keystone Rivallino for her first foal, due in April 2011.

Rosie made her appearance a few days early on 26th March 2011, and was everything we could have hoped for. Premiere was a natural mother from the start, and has obviously read her dam Whorl Wind’s book on parenting!

We then sent Premiere to a friend to concentrate on her ridden career. She proved to be very talented both on the flat and over jumps, but sadly an injury means that she may not be ridden again.

Her first foal Rosie grew into a very nice young horse and so we decided to breed from Premiere again. Her second foal, a colt by Furstenball was born in May 2016 and we are delighted with him.

We were so delighted with Lester, that we decided to use another F line stallion on Premiere for a 2018 foal. Fidertanz is somewhat of a Briarwood favourite and we were over the moon with Briarwood Footloose, born in May 2018.
