Briarwood Narcissa
Briarwood Narcissa was born on 16th May 2016. From the first meeting, it was clear that this filly surpassed all expectations. Jet black with three white socks, she was given the name Millie, after a very special young horse owned by a close friend that is sadly no longer with us.

Millie's sire Negro needs little introduction, being the sire of not only legendary gold medallist and world record holder Valegro, but also an enormous list of performance horses, broodmare and licensed stallions.
Floris, Millie's dam is a first time mother and has proved to be exceptional in every way. She is by the liver chestnut stallion Floriscount (Florencio), who qualified for the Bundeschampionat in 2010, showing particular strength in his canter and rideability. His dam side brings not only the incredibly popular Donnerhall, but Thoroughbred blood through his grand sire Walldorf (Tin Rocco XX). Millie's pedigree is completed by Sandro Hit and Brentano from her grand dam, St Pr Sweet Sixteen.

Millie has a bold and commanding presence, with an excellent hindleg and huge reach in all of her paces. Her limbs are strong and straight, allowing her to easily cover the ground, particularly in her canter.

We could not have asked for more from this pairing, and we are very grateful to Tanya for allowing us to add Floris to our broodmare herd. We are delighted to retain part ownership of Millie, along with Tanya and professional rider, Hannah Biggs. Millie will be looking for a new home in 2023.
