Dave was born on 29th May 2010. From day one, he has been a pleasure to deal with in all respects. He has a friendly and easy-going attitude, and has inherited his sire’s excellent movement. Standing at approximately 17hh, he is a real gentle giant.

Showmaker is a stallion that combines the lines of both Sandro Hit and Florestan. Champion of his 30-day performance test, Showmaker is fully graded with WBS(UK).  He was Medium Champion at the Hickstead Dressage Summer Masters in 2009 and is currently competing at Prix St Georges with owner and rider Garry Williams.

Dave’s dam Galaxie was a successful broodmare with an exceptional temperament. She was by Giorgione, and out of Deutsche Eiche, a mare three-quarter bred to the Olympic stallion Don Schufro (Donnerhall x Pik Bube).

Equally suited to an amateur or professional, Dave is a pleasure to deal with in all respects. It is his truly genuine character that makes him so special.

He has powerful paces, excellent limbs and very correct conformation.

Dave is now in a loving loan home with Shirley and her daughter Lauren.
