Our first foal of the 2011 season was born on 26th March; a tall bay filly. Rosie is by the dressage stallion Keystone Rivallino, and out of Premiere (Pascal x World Classic), Laura’s young dressage mare, herself a daughter of our broodmare Whorl Wind.

Her sire Keystone Rivallino, a son of Rosentau, is now competing in Australia and is no longer breeding, so Rosie was one of his last foals.

Rosie was backed at five years old, and she was proving to be a keen and fast learner.

 

Very sadly, we had to have Rosie put to sleep in June 2016 after a field accident. Losing such a promising young horse was incredibly painful, but we can take some comfort from the fact that she was much loved throughout her short life.
