Our first foal of 2017, was the full sister to Briarwood Narcissa. It soon became clear that Zena had, just like her sister, inherited her mother’s bold character and look at me factor.

Her sire Negro, is not only sire to the world record holder Valegro, but to a countless number of performance horses, stallions and champion broodmares alike.

​

Zena had the potential to excel in the dressage arena, and showed to have not only the paces and conformation, but also the character to do so. We place a huge importance upon this particular aspect of breeding, as we feel that it is counter productive to breed talent without temperament.

In June 2018, Zena found a perfect new home, but sadly she passed away in December 2019.
