Isla was born on the 19th May 2014, the first foal for us from Roxana La Rossa, and she did not disappoint.

She was an exquisite filly and the perfect example of a modern warmblood. Even at a young age she showed uphill paces, an excellent hindleg and a wonderful attitude.

​

Furstenball is by Furst Heinrich and out of a Donnerhall x Classiker mare. Sold for a record breaking amount as a foal (120,000 euro), Furstenball was Oldenburg licensing champion two years later. Out of his first crop of foals, four colts were licensed at the Hanoverian licensing in 2013, which was an extraordinary feat for a young stallion.

 

In 2017, Isla was the third highest scoring dressage three year old in the UK, featuring in British Breeder magazine. Isla's dressage career began in earnest in 2019, with two sixth places at Somerford Premier League in the BD Young Horse 5 year old classes. She then went on to qualify for the Hickstead Five Year Old Final in July with owner Lucinda. Isla was also crowned BHHS Mare Performance Test Champion in 2019.

In 2022, Isla will welcome her first foal, via ET, by the stallion Morricone. We can't wait to watch Lucinda and Rob welcome this special foal.
